We are happy to announce that our website has finally received an overdue refresh. Please persue the site; the address is the same as always BMSWC.com. We welcome your feedback, corrections, etc. There are new features to facilitate discussion and track comments, so check those out, too. Thank you!

Sufi Meditation, Healing, & Whirling |
 Please join us for our Sufi Meditation and Healing sessions on Thursday evenings. Leonardo Stoute "Bapak Waleed" will be leading a traditional Sufi Zikr circle and mediation session with a special performance of the Whirling Dervish dance in the traditional style of the poet Rumi, an important aspect of many Sufi orders. The Zikr, or remembrance, is a ceremony of healing for all those present and even those who only intended to come. Guests are asked to close their eyes, focus on their breath, and join in the chanting if they like. The evening includes a group invocation of blessings and peace followed by a short discussion. Come enjoy the relaxing experience. Refreshments will be provided. All are welcome, including famlies and children. On Thursdays at 8pm, lasts about an hour. Donations appreciated

Free Reiki Share |
With Andrew Anders: A Reiki Share is a gathering of local Reiki enthusiasts to share information, practice techniques, and trade energy. All Reiki students, practitioners, and masters are welcome. Energy workers and anybody interested in learning more about Reiki are encouraged to come along as well. If you are looking to learn more about Reiki, seeking additional practice, or feeling stressed out and would like a peaceful and relaxing afternoon escape, this is the place to be.
On Sunday, June 20th from 1:30 - 3PM. All are welcome, including all experience levels. Suggested donation: $5

Conscious Cinema |
Free Movie Friday! You all are welcome to join us for an evening of conscious cinema. We will be screening "Meetings with Remarkable Men". This 1979 film by Peter Brook, based on the book by G. I. Gurdjieff, tells the story of Gurdjieff and his companions' search for truth in a series of dialogues and vignettes, much as in the book.
Donations appreciated.

Peaceful Happy Hour |
 Friday, July 9, 5:45 - 7:00 pm | Come try acupuncture with Ellen! Please join Ellen Porter for a new kind of "happy hour" at the end of your week. Ellen will administer small ear acupuncture treatments to all participants that are very effective at reducing stress and enhancing relaxation. It's a wonderful, peaceful way to welcome the weekend!
Fee $10 or two for $15.
